The readme indicates: Download WJoy here: http://go.hiddenswitch.com/wjoy but that link returns a 404.
Please upload a new version!

You'll also see this issue reported at:

360Controller/360Controller#698

For all intents and purposes, Apple doesn't document its kext extension stuff in a legible way, and multiple smart people can't understand it to use it correctly.

FWIW, I have put up a slightly updated fork that I intend (hope 😉) to maintain going forward at https://github.com/WiiController/WiiController. It works just fine for me, and I'm not quite sure what the initially reported issues were about (perhaps SIP issues?), so I wanted to make this generally available again. I also made the user interface a little bit nicer.

Just so people understand, the driver will crash your computer, unequivocally, on any modern macOS device.

@doctorpangloss

I appreciate that you don't want people's computers crashing, I really, really do. But I have been actively running this driver for a couple of years at this point and it hasn't crashed my machine once. Apologies for my ignorance, but could you point me to someone's description of the crash so I can better understand the problem? Do you mean it, say, crashes on Macs newer than x year, 2016 ≤ x ≤ 2020 or something?

Edit: Also, yes, I have read the 360Controller issue thread. Have people reported the same thing with the last version of this that you provided for download?

Thank you, I really do mean it.

Also, I completely understand that you wouldn't want to be held responsible for any crashes that do occur. 👍
